The Game - Resurrected West Coast?

A lot of people are now saying that The Game has resurrected the west coast and if it wasn't for him then East Coast And Southern rap would of taken over the airwaves.

Do ya'll think this is true?

Personally, I think the influence of GTA: San Andreas and the Compton-like setting of 'Los Santos' has made people more aware of West Coast Rap but at the same time 'The Game' came out with 'The Documentary' to shift people away from the 90's Gangsta Rap and more the the mainstream music of today......So, no i don't think The Game has resurrected the west coast rap scene but i do think he's made more people aware of it

Game has put out the best cd from the west since chronic 2001..so yeah..id say he put it back it back "on the map"..so to speak..cuz everyone i know was talkin about game..aint been a buzz like that since a dre cd..or even a pac cd.

I don't think The Game "resurrected" the westcoast caz if he did "resurrect" the westcoast surely you would see more competition, which means more "westcoast" artists.
