Alright so I was reading some of those links at the bottom of this thread, hoping they would help me out 2#:-( . I found alot of good information with those links and one thing that really got me thinking. Who ever wrote the material in link 2 at the bottom of this thread believes

Dude, seriously, you can't just pigeon hole a girl.

They are all different.. you can go from one girl who is loud, brash, expects to be chased and gives nothing, to a quiet, sensative shy girl who wants someone just like her..

Girls want what men want. Its that simple. We all want a few different ingrediants which meet our personal needs. When we find someone we like though, they may have a little bit to much of something and a little less of something else. Hey, thats the way the cookie crumbles. We may just like them regardless because as we all know, you can't pick and choose who you're going to like, it just happens.

I have a friend who is quiet as hell. I can't begin to imagine him having ANY kind of plan when he meets someone. He always has long term relationships though. I'm out going, confident, funny etc but I haven't ever been involved with anyone for longer than say 3 months.

We all like what we like. Same with girls.. some guys are just lucky enough to meet that person cos they're out there looking. Other guys get bitten a few times and think the whole world is against them. I'm in a messed up situation right now. BELIEVE ME its not nice. But you can't sit there doubting yourself.

But like I said - everyone is different. For as many women who feel that they prefer a shy man, there will be just as many who say they don't.

How long will a shy guy remain shy, when he's hearing all kinds of nice things about himself from his girlfriend? and how long will a confident guy remain confident when he is being hated by every girl he meets? Sooner or later, our current environments will catch up with us. Then what do you do ..?

most men probably end up being very similar, despite their shyness at first. that's a bad blanket statement made by a pitiful shy man.

I think those sites had some good tips. I liked the one about approaching average girls at first. If you practice talking to girls you don't care about it won't matter if you mess up. Part of the fun of meeting someone new that you are attracted to is that both of you are a little nervous. Those butterflies in the stomach make it more exciting.

I never thought about it before but there is some truth to that. Not every shy guy may be great but most of the jerks are rather outgoing and cocky. It's true that if you are too shy to approach someone that they will never get the chance to decide if they like you or not.

Another thing you can do if you're shy is try to look and dress your best everyday and smile at people. If you do that an outgoing girl might approach you.

Girls who prefer shy guys should be the girls trying to interact with them IMHO. I mean if you know he's shy, go for it. I doubt he would be a cocky motherfucker and say, "you're way too ugly, I don't want to talk to you."

This quote is saying that women aim for shy men but I don't agree with that. But I do think EVENTUALLY women realize that they should go with the guy that is gonna treat them right.

The reason I thought this quote was very interesting is because I don't see girls aiming for shy/quiet guys. MOST girls seem to be attracted to the outgoing type/ bad boy type, but in the end those are the type that end up screwing the girl over
