how strong am i?

  • how strong am i?

    aite, im askin this because i wanna know where i stand and sometimes its a little wierd to go asking people this in real life (cus most of them dont know or dont care)

    im 5'7.5" 120lbs and im 16. i can do like 8 reps of 110lbs for about 3 or 4 sets (tho i usually cant complete the full 8 during the latter sets). i can do barbell curls with 25lbs for 6 reps.....

    so how strong am i? i mean, according to my height and weight (which i think is pretty small...fast metabolism i guess). also, just according to people my age, how strong am i?

    thanks for anyone who helps cus im kinda curious

    i cud do bout 215 lbs, four sets of eight on the bench. just got back from holiday so iv prob dropped loads :S.

    on dumbell curls, i do 4 sets of 9 on 40 lbs. its one of my worse exercises but still pretty impressive.

    im 19, 160 lbs.

      i once was at 140 2 sets 10 reps each.
      now im building back up at 120 same reps.
      went to the Carolinas for a week and went below 100 lbs for my # of Reps.

      im only bout 120 pounds but have been using 100% whey protein powder every day for bout 2 weeks and noticed alot of difference in size and strength.
      as for curling i french curl 25s and curl 35s but its actually 50 and 70 cus i got a curling bar for both hands instead of dumbells separately.
      Dre grabbed the map, the plaques and the gold,
      I grabbed 2 girlies and a blunt thats rolled

          iv never done protein before. im strating as soon as this guy from work can hook me up. iv been told its very effective.

            ^ yeah, Protein shakes and stuff works really well, but only use it extensively ( like every time you work out ) If you want to be muscly as fuck.

            I only use it like once a week maybe when i work out. I like natural Muscle toning.. I'm not even going to use it soon.

            But it's just preferance.. anyway, as for the question.. your rank is :

                  your either an exception to the other weak girls i know... or mabye your a fat girl, or you are like every other girl/weak guy that lies about their presses.
                  9 out of 10 of the kids at school that told me they bench 150+ ive taken them down to the weight room and they are only able to do mabye half of their lies.

                  then they go on about 100 different excuses, (my arms sore from lifting yesterday, my hands too sweaty, i jacked off too much, ETC...)

                  only girl in my weight lifting class that can bench 150+ is a 250 pound girl.
                  theres about 20 girls in the class too.

                    not trying to sound harsh, but that's not a lot. i started working out when i was about 15-16 at school, and was curling (if i remember correctly), around 40lbs freeweights each arm...i was around 5'9 or so, and about 145lbs.

                    bench has always been my strongest, and i was benching 200+lbs at that time...i remember 'cause we had a class competition to see who the first to 200lbs on the bench was.

                    just keep at it...gaining size/strength doesn't happen overnight...you gotta be in it for the long-haul.

                    and you're still young, so give it some time.
                    in my home country of Soviet Russia, road forks you.

                      /\yea i feel kinda humbled now that all these muscle men came told me bout themselves hahaha. but i aint gon stop workin and i AM happy with how im lookin so yea...i jus gotta keep doin my thing

                      thanks for the repsonses tho. when did yall start working out? i started like...2 or 3 months ago (start of the summer) but ive seen alotta improvement since then

                      EDIT: and to the girl that posted, thats good that u can do that...but seriously, some of the girls at my school cant even finish 5 pushups (non "girly" pushups). so i think youre jus a hard worker or ur blessed or somethin
