  • need some advice please

    i just bought some creatine and whey protien at gnc but im not sure when to take it. the guy told me something about workouts but i was like dazing off and shit so i dont even know.

    ive never takin supplements in my life before but i want to start just to see how it is. im an all natural dude but fuck that shit

    advice would be appreciated.

    Take whey protein within an hour after a workout, when the insulin levels are at their optimal. After a workout also consume carbohydrates which will stimulate the release of insulin (govern protein synthesis). By elevating the release of insulin before the consumption of a whey protein drink, you have effectively set the stage for a serious anabolic reaction. Also by consuming whole food source of carbohydrate before your amino acids will increase in the bloodstream, further helping the anabolic process.

    As for creatine, take 5 grams daily preferably after a workout.

    Also fuck what a GNC dude says he has one objective on his mind to sell you more product than you truly need or require. I heard of a guy who used to down 40-50g of creatine a day because a GNC rep told him to do it that way. He was just pissing his money down the toilet and making the GNC corp. richer.

        how? The creatine gives you energy by increasing ATP and the absorption rates are greater afterworkout than preworkout.

            im not sure if creatine is good in the long run but you should get more muscles going naturally its better for the body if you decide on halting the process of your weightlifting(I)
