  • little problem with my workout

    ok the other day i started the 'air alert 2' jumping program. if you odnt know it increases your vertical leap over a period of 12 weeks. I warmup and streach like it says. the workout requires a lot of jumping. my problem is that on the 20th or so rep of a leap up, Step ups, Thrust ups or Burnouts i get a sharp pain in the left side of my neck, which runs up my head and feels like my head is going to rip apart. Obviouly i stop somtimes having to lie on the ground. im thinking of giving up on the program but i really want to do it. Is there any reason my neckis doing this and is there a way to stop it or at least ease the pain for the 30 mins im doing it for twice a day.

    it could be u doing it wrong cuz thats why my back was hurting?

      maybee but i dont see how you can really stuff up jumping into the air and coming back down.

        lol u can strain urself doing anything, maybe u need to work ur way up gradually

          warm up adn stretch your neck. also you should be straining your neck when jumping. why not do some squats instead?
