what up everyone...not sure if this is the correct place to present this question, but what do the different types of thred appreciations mean? One is green and one is purple, assuming that purple is negative I would like to know wtf!

I surf here often and have been looking to help do my part lately and was wondering why the negative rep. Anyways thanks for any help you might be able to provide. Also, I once again apologize if this has already been spoken on.

rep is bullshit, it's created to make worthless loser teenagers feel better about themselves. whenever they disagree with anything they give the person with whom them disagree a bad rep, that way they both feel better about their own lives and won't have to overheat their brains into formulating a sentance which makes sense of their own.

^yup...the purple box means that the person who repped you - whether it was good or bad - doesn't have enough rep power themselves to make any impact on your overall reputation.

Purple boxes are when new people give you good/bad reputation, but they only have like 10 points so it won't affect your rep at all.
