  • Clooney, Pitt, Damon a Go for 'Ocean's 13'

Now that George Clooney's an Academy Award winner, he and his crew are returning to their thieving ways.

Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon will star in "Ocean's 13," the third flick in their franchise about a gang of lovable crooks, distributor Warner Bros. announced Monday.

A supporting-actor Oscar winner for the oil-industry thriller "Syriana," Clooney will reprise his role as leader of the pack Danny Ocean, with the group pulling off a new heist in Las Vegas.

The studio expects the rest of the cast, including Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia, Bernie Mac, Carl Reiner and Elliott Gould, will return

Production is scheduled to start in July, with "Ocean's 13" due in theaters in summer 2007

personally i loved the first 2 movies...cant wait for this

Crappy, crappy idea...the second one was a huge step down from the first.

I read there's no Julia Roberts in this one...I'm not the hugest Roberts fan, but her not being in this movie at all would be another problem with it...as with any cast member...

I don't like Julia Roberts at all, I don't wanna use "Hate" but I seriously can't stand her as an actress so her leaving the cast would be just fine for me, and the first 2, I thought were funny as fuck...only let-downs were that, well Julia Roberts was in 'em.

sounds good, I liked the 1st 2. As ong as all the originals are in it, if Julie isn't in it I wouldn't really care, she wasn't a big part in the 2nd anyway (except playing her real life self), but they better keep everyone else. The biggest downfalls in sequals is when they can't keep the same actors. I wonder who will be the new person in this movie (13th)...and if Julie isn't in it they would need another new person to still keep it Ocean's "13."

            Hollywood's out of Ideas..........
Damn the sequel was crap but they're still going on?
I prefered the Italian Job Remakes anyway. They had Charlize Theron . A lot better than Julia

She had nothing to do with the plot of the movie, so fuck her. These movies were good. The first one was better than the second, but still the second was worth seeing. It's kind of one of those situations where you're expecting to be fooled, so it's not that big of a surprise by now, but shit, almost every good movie follows the same criteria, it's just some dumb mother fuckers don't expect it.

urgh... *really long drawn out sigh*

I have not seen the second one, and I refuse to. I have heard some horrible things.
Oh, Julia Roberts disguised as Julia Roberts, THAT IS SO WACKY!

They done all the 70's Tv shows and now they're moving on to the 80's.
They just buy the image of the show and don't bother with a story.
When Charlies Angels was being fimed they didn't have a script. They were writing it as they where going along.
Another example would be Dukes of Hazard.

Quite honest I think the writing talent is in TV at the moment and all the CGI artistic talent is in Movies.

Oh, the dude who makes the trailers, the movie they wished they had made.
That guy should win an Oscar.

The series "V" is being remade. I not sure in what format though.

I wonder when Mc Gyver and Knightrider or even the Greatest American Hero will be re-made?

If Charlize is in it I'll go and see it.

I don't mind an Ocean's 13. Hollywood ran out of ideas years ago for movies so I'm not using that as an excuse not to see this movie. I loved the first two and hopefully the 3rd is just as good.
