Eagle Eye is a 2008 American political thriller film directed by D.J. Caruso, written by Steven Spielberg, Dan McDermott, and Hillary Seltz, and starring Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan. A young man, Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf) returns home after the mysterious death of his successful twin brother. At first, reading it, I thought it might be stupid (and I am a Shia lover, no homo...) until I saw the trailer. It looks like it's gonna be pretty good.

The trailer looks good. Speilberg is definitely setting up Shia. I remember him from back in the day, now look at him. I didn't know Speilberg was involved in the story but apparently a lot of people were involved in the screenplay.

It was his idea... so he gets a writer's credit.

^ Well, in all fairness, he is talented. If you haven't yet, you should pick up A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints. He's super good in it. Also, I remember a Disney movie he was in, where he played a handicap person. I knew right there he was gonna be a star.

He's paid his dues and hopefully he continues to work on art films, as well as Hollywood blockbusters.
