I tell u from what i see and i been in alot of nice studios .Most are using cpu base recording with good software .Kind of like what we all are doing home recording.
All u really need is a good cpu Mac is what i use Keyboard Korg is what i would go with and a Akia Mpc 2000- 4000. The software u use is very important. Just check ur cpu specs to compare what ur cpu can handle.
But the pro use Logic pro to record in or Pro Tools. But if ur looking to make beats and stuff Ive seen most use Acid Pro 4.0 Or Cubase Nuebo. The Plug ins for these software are the best in the world

Check this site out and get a idea on what u can do with a home base studio. U can get the sample effect as the pros do Its all in the time u take to finalize ur music and EQ ing it

For the moment i dont create my own beats , i have some friends who make them for me , and i aint really interested on how to create a beat...
I tried to do something with FL ... it`s nice , it worked ... But for the moment , i stay on friends hands.. )
I dont want to buy first a keyboard , then other shits ...
When i will be able to buy my own studio , i will do it :!

Producer is way more expensive in my oppinion, you gotta buy keyboards and all kinds of mixers n stuff...MC is easy....all you need is One Mic
