I uploaded a few new beats recently and here are 2 of them that I would like to get feedback on...

The first one is a mellow beat with some rhodes, synth choirs, electric guitar etc...

both very nice beats ... i like the first one a bit more better though. the second one has a niiice melody i just don't really like the sound of the actual instrument itself. but the melody is dope.

The 1st one I can really hear Em spittin' on this. Or Mary J Blidge or someone singin' on it. Nice Shit. I like that little whisper snappin' percussion in on the chorus. makes it sound like some Timbo shit. Famn, this track is pretty soulful. 10/10

The 2nd beat sounds like some Scott Storch shit almost. I can hear Madonna or some other pop bitch on this. I like this shit alot though. This is more of my style right here. 10/10

iight listening to rhodes..already off the back im feeling my type of beats..some heart felt type of deep shit..good changes up..dont stay the same..easy to flow too thats the key thing...its good on the ears..aint to loud..got a good feel to it..u can sit back and just listen to the beat...thats always a good thing..cuz without a good beat u dont got a good song..plain and simple...ONLY TIP I CAN GIVE..IS..CHANGE THE NAME....cuz me myself i write songs off of beat names...its easier..like if u named it Times Are Hard r something..nah mean...

2nd one..same thing right off the back its rocking...on a another level then the first one..which is a good thing...keep changing up styles..cuz u got emcees out there with a thousand differnt styles..then want a 1000 differnt beats nah mean...like when it changed up...im feeling this beat...on some hard hitting..murdering type of ish...or it can be some slow riding shit..nah mean...same thing MAKE A NAME FOR THE BEAT..INSTEAD OF HARD PIZZ...NAH MEAN LIKE COME ON AND RIDE WIT ME....cuz in the beat im hearing..COME ON AND RIDE WIT ME....in the melody...

overall..both beats are very good..and on differnt vibes which is good..what are you using to make your beats...cuz im making beats and they dont sound like that..lol..i also enrolled in Abnotic Records beat course....

I like rhodes complicated different beat I like that.

I like the 2nd even better but I think it needs something extra. But the melody is really good. I especially like the chorus it's just that I feel like the beat isn't finished yet.

@doubleU, yeah I know what you're saying about the 2nd beat, as soon as I found that melody, I sequenced the drums and I wanted something simple that hits hard, and I made the whole beat kinda quickly... it's true that it could use some other work in it... but, like for all my beats on soundclick, they are just snippets of what they can sound like, when someone wants to do business with me and buys my service to produce a song, I try to adjust the beat he chooses to his concept, and I build the beat around his vocals... I think it gives the best results (to me atleast)

@mimic, thanks for that long post man! and yeah I agree with you 100% about the titles of my beat.... it seems like somthing I just can't do... find a title for a beat lol... but I appreciate the advices, and the titles you came up with in a few seconds are better than anything I could find in hours lol

And I use FL Studio to make beats, but I mostly use free soundfonts available on the net, and some free VST (like Minimogue VA) and drum kits I found over the last few months

Rhodes is very nice

The chorus on Hard pizz is great. Feels like some military shit, if you could add some more of those drum rolls on it and make those that seem like horns louder more intense, and add some hight pitched strings, it'd be even. I feel the chorus needs to be even more dramatic.

Rhodes is the one I like the most.

yea..man im nice with the song titles..if u got any beats u want me to hear..ill think of a title for you that i think best fits the beat..you know..but..like i said..def some dope beats just make sure your taking all the legal action..before you put them out there like that

[Apathy]

First beat has a nice bassline and snare patterns.Is indeed quite mellow and i colud see Budden rippin this.Not bad.

Second beat is weird at first but as soon as the bass drops it's not bad.Bit too slow and sounding unfinished for me.

All in all not bad.Keep reppin your ends.
