before Eminem came out i never thought of rap/
he proved to rap you aint gotta be black/
first there was Vanilla Ice/
but he didnt get far cuz his rhymes werent nice/
no one liked him, cuz they though he was wack/
or possibly because he wasnt black/
Eminem knew he could get where he wanted to be/
even though his skin color is different, as you can see/
he had 2 bad albums , Infinite and Slim Shady EP/
but when Dre heard him, he knew he was a rapper to be seen/
he had 3 platinum albums after that/
and gave us white people the confidence to rap/
you may think he an asshole cuz what he feels he will say/
but a lyrical genius like him, just blows be away/
he doestn care what people think, or you could say he doesnt give a fuck/
that proves he a bigger person then most of us/
i can relate to him cuz he raps about his life/
