she is dreaming again
things that will never be
because wishes are not horses
and it isn't destiny

and when she falls
it goes so deep
she recovers but
lies in a heap

the dreams start to awaken
she's got nothing left to lose
'cept the only thing she's wanted
held in the grip of youth

the power isn't hers now
so out of her control
she might just fall forever
guess that's the way life goes

dreams are just for children
don't contain reality
and if she's never happy
then it wasn't meant to be

I liked that part the best. good piece.. its been a while since ive seen your stuff but this seems alot more abstract then what i remember. thats a good thing though, imo. very poetic.. i liked the structure.

i cant say i've seen this structure from as of late. it does have atrace of Kali, i think it was the horses (which gave u away).

ehh I dunno, I've seen a few from you that I enjoyed more than this one. I mean it's not bad, but I didn't particularly enjoy it. Don't take my criticism the wrong way either, just trying to be honest. The one I didn't really like more than the rest was the second stanza...not entirely sure why. I did like those last 4 lines though. Nice poem
