Its gonna be tough in the Eastern finals with Miami man.... If we stop either Wade or Shaq we win the series but that is easier said than done. I think they will pull it out in 6 games. The finals will be tough with either the Spurs (if Duncan is healthy throughout the playoffs) or the Suns if Duncan is not healthy. I like our chances against the Suns but the Spurs would be a very interesting, low scoring series. its a tough call..... what do u think???

As much as it kills me to say...no. We have no frontcourt depth. McDyess and Campbell are our only backups to Sheed and Ben. They should've tried harder for Dale Davis or someone else. Unless Darko really gets into playing form between now and the playoffs, I think we're in for some trouble...Kid Cudi

^ idk if our frontcourt is thin at all if they can stay healthy... we will only be using campbell against Shaq and if we make it to the finals with our 3 big men healthy, well, thats is actually a Great frontcourt. I think the key will be Tayshaun and Rasheed being consistent scorers in the playoffs because our D isnt as great as last years...[CENTER]DETROIT PISTONS!!!

Boston could take Detroit in a 7 game series. As a matter of fact, Boston can run with any team in the NBA in a 7 game series BESIDES Miami, Phoenix, and San Antonio (assuming Duncan is healthy, of course). Detroit fans don't hate, you got a great squad out there, but I can back up my statement.Boston, Massachusetts

^ kenny u dont got anything to back up your statement. Bostons takin the Pistons in a 7 game series??? NO WAY! Bostons struggling enough rite now. I would like to know how many people here think that the Celts can take the Pistons in the playoffs. Defense always wins (Pistons, Spurs)[CENTER]DETROIT PISTONS!!!

Boston could definitely give Detroit a run if not beat them. The only reason they've struggled a little bit recently is because Antoine was hurt but he'll be healthy for the playoffs. Pierce can compare to Hamilton, Walker can compare to Sheed, Ben Has an edge over Raef, Chauncey has an edge of Payton, but the Celtics have the 6th man of the year Ricky Davis who is a huge spark for that team. If I had to pick I'd pick Detroit but Boston could DEFINITELY compete with them.Eminem, Kobe Bryant, Tom Brady, Red Sox, & MoeMurda

Originally posted by detroitplaya8Detroit would take Boston in 7, even though Boston's bench is way better, because Detroit's defense is better.
You go on to say "6 at the most" after you make this statement. Do you even know what youre talking about? Is there any way you would understand what I was saying even if I tried to explain what I said? Probably not.Boston, Massachusetts

See, I'm a die-hard Pistons fan, so I'm biased when I say this; I think they have a good chance. What you people need to remember is that Pistons are making the Play-Offs for sure as of this moment, so it's understandable they might not feel the pressure of winning these last few season games, but once Play-Off time comes, you best believe they're bringing out the guns and the defense they're well known for, shutting down team after team. Look at their last season, where they did poorly, and shocked the entire nation with Play-Off performance.. it's not so much about the Detroit team itself, but the mastermind of Larry Brown behind it, not to forget the rise and maturity of young, talented players they carry. I have faith in them. Not saying it will be an easy ride, but I believe they can pull it off. It's Detroit basketball after all...Still takin' my time to perfect the beat, and I still got love for the streets, it's the D-R-E...

Kenny is right, Boston can take Detroit in a 7 game series.
I just can't see Detroit repeating, at this point, the Heat have way to much going for them. And that's just out East, even if they do beat the Heat which I think is highly unlikely, they would still have to get by either the Suns or the Spurs. And they are no joke, espcially the Suns.
Cheers.
