Well this is pretty simple. We all know who led the NFL in passing... No, not Peyton Manning, McNabb, Brady, or any other QB. It was Daunte Culpepper. Having an amazing, 4,700+ yards. Now, only about 700 or so were to Moss... Where did the other 4,000 yards go? To the other WR's/TE's. Now 13 TD's went to Moss, but there were another 20 something to other players... Now Tom Brady made it to a super bowl with 28 TD's. The year before, 23. Now Daunte Culpepper proved he doesnt need Moss with the stats. Moss did something for the Vikings, but not everything. Daunte is a great QB with or without Moss. I could go into more detail, but Im in a rush.

Why Daunte Culpepper DOESNT Need Moss

Well said. My Vikings have offensive weapons, they will score points without Moss. Culpepper's reciever of choice last season was TE Wiggins. The Jets have a damn good defense so let's see what happens tomarrow night. 3;-)3
And Troy Williamson will play.

Moss missed a bunch of games last year and Culpepper did just fine.
They got a nice group of receivers this year too. Vikings ARE going places this year. With all the drama in Philly, I think they are gonna represent the NFC in the super bowl. I even thought that without all the drama in Philly, but now it's even more likely.

And PS: just because Im sticking up for the Vikings, doesnt mean the Eagles wont whoop them any day of the week.

I'm a little worried about this but only because the Vikings dont run the ball as good as they should. Jimmy Kleinsasser will be back and thats HUGE because he's a great run blocker. Michael Bennett is not doing good and if it wasent for the the whizzanator thing Onterrio Smith would have been our starting running back.
I think Culpepper will do fine but it's gonna take some time. There gonna look to spread the ball around alot more. Burleson is good wide reciever. Jermaine Wiggins is a good tight end and will get open and make plays. Robinsion can catch jump balls and you can look for him deep. Travis Taylor will be interesting because he was a top 10 pick in 2001 and so far it looks like he's a bust. Now he finally has a real good quarterback in Culpepper so hopefully he will do alot better.
It might take some time but I think Culpepper will do fine especially if the Vikings can run the ball better this year.

Troy Williamson was impressive in his first game including a catch for a TD. I really liked the speed of the defense in last Friday's game as well, looks promising. As far as RB's go, Bennet isn't getting it done thus far, but, what is with running him up the middle? Especially against a talaqnted D in the Jets. He's much better running off tackle especially whith Birk coming off the nose and Jim Kliensaucer blocking up field. Birk didn't play, but still.
Mewelde Moore could end up being the starter. My main problem with Tice is how hard nose he really is. The Randy Ratio, and now Bennet IS the starter.

Hell yeah! I won this jersey off ebay for $65.
New with tags, it's his 2004 Pro Bowl jersey which is way cooler than the 2005 white jersey. Do you see the stars? I can't wait to get it, it's F'n sweet!
The cheapest I found it for online was $199.99 before shipping.Last edited by Mr Bigins; 08-26-2005, 12:47 PM.

That's what I keep telling people, everyone wanted Mike Williams, but honestly we have our leaper in Marcus Robinson. Williamson can fly, and he should get some time with the starters tonight. 3;-)3
