lightning quick son, I hope the Lakers win ONLY if the Celtics get passed Detroit, which they will, I'll say Lakers in 6.

Pistons match up favorably against Celtics and Spurs against Lakers. LMFAO at the real possibility of another Pistons Spurs final lololol worst case scenario for ratings.

Lakers in 6. They march onto the finals to play the PISTONS and get their revenge from a few years ago. If you want my explanation as to why, I'm too lazy to type one, so I'll just say ...kobe.

Seeing the Spurs step up and crush the Hornets reminded me of how they're not just cheating bitches, but talented cheating bitches.

Here's how I see the break down:

Duncan and Gasol will cancel each other out. Kobe's firepower can be matched by good combined games by Parker and Ginobili, Parker in particular being a much more potent point guard than Fisher. That leaves Udoka or Thomas to take on Odom. Kobe will get his points, but Spurs are good at taking down teams with one superstar player. Aside from the Lakers I listed, I really don't see the rest making much of an impact. Vujacic, Farmar, Walton, Turiaf...I don't see them as clutch performers. The Kobe factor will be more than a handful for Poppovitch's queers, but I still think they're too good for the Lakers.

Lakers in 5 or 6. Haven't decided yet. Could be a difficult series, but I think Lakers might make a real statement(if they haven't already) and finish them off quick.

Here's a preview of this series (the last time these 2 teams played...)

                              Lakers in 7.

This will be the Lakers most difficult series yet, obviously. The Spurs are the toughest team in the West other than the Lakers, but I see the Lakers younger depth overcoming the Spurs older depth. The Lakers bench has been huge all season and I see much success.

                              Key Match Ups:

Tony Parker vs Dereck Fisher and Jordan Farmar:

Parker will have a lot of trouble when Fisher's on him. If Parker wants success get Fisher in foul trouble and get Farmar in the game. Farmar's size could cause trouble for Parker. Parker has speed tho and should be able to get to his comfort zone of basket to 15 feet. If Fisher and Farmar can cause Parker to shoot long jump shots, Parker is neutralized on offense. Defensively Parker can't let Fisher get open looks late in any close ballgame. Fisher hit 3 3's in the Utah series when he help get the game into OT.

                              Kobe vs Bowen and Manu

Kobe is the best player currently but Bowen can cause serious problems and the double teams the Spurs can do, also will be in full force. Kobe needs to get him teammates involved and keep them involved. The Lakers success goes with Kobe working the Spurs defense not just by scoring. By working the ball inside/out and around until it's in an open mans hands makes the Spurs work harder. Working harder gives the Lakers a much better chance to win.

The Spurs swarming defense is key. Using the same philosophy as they used against the Cavs last year in the Finals, the Spurs could win this series. The major difference in Kobe and LeBron tho is that Kobe can shoot the ball better from the outside. If Kobe's on from outside and doesn't drive to the rim, this defense doesn't work. Also the Lakers have more consistent shooters than the Cavs last season and could easily light them up. Gasol inside brings some tough problems.

Manu is the key to the Spurs success. Manu can easily cripple the Laker defense and Parker can as well. If either player gets inside the lane there isn't anybody else to prevent them from scoring. Gasol isn't that much of a shot blocking threat and Odom has never been known for defense.
