    Gameplay

Manhattan in the game is far bigger than in Spider-Man 2. The game also features over 20 miles of sewers and subways. This is definite for the next-gen and current-gen games; the handhelds have a free-roaming environment also, but no size is confirmed.

Spider-Man has a brand new combat system that was worked from the ground up and includes more aerial moves and web attacks. These moves are in all verisons of the game. For the Wii, the motion sensors are used during combat, the nunchuck is Spider-Man's left hand while the remote is the right, moving both the nunchuck and the remote in different directions causes Spider-Man to do different attacks.

In the Wii version, the motion sensors are also used for web-slinging as well as combat. Again, the remote & nunchuck are Spidey's left & right hands.

Part of the game puts the player in control of the Black Suited Spider-Man where Spider-Man's combat system has more brutal moves and a "Rage" system that allows aggressive moves.
The game features cineractives that are button sensitive. Game director Chris Archer explained that all the gameplay is playable, including what would be included as a cinematic. Cineractives are motion based on the Wii.

I bought it for Wii and its tits swinging is really fun there are alot of different things the motion sencing is used for like swing people over your head & when fighting Harry on his board for the first time u have to move it in the way shown to dodge his attacks also on the Wii verion u get to use the black suit when ever u want.

So yeah even though ive only put an hour and a half in i recomened it.

I opted for the 360 version. Got it straight after seeing the movie earlier today.

I've played about 2 hours and have loved it so far.

It's basically just a big upgrade on the previous game. No major gameplay changes, but it still kick ass.

I have been playing for 5 hours, what I loved is that they didn't change the gameplay but gave it a massive graphical upgrade.

Although there is a slight learning curve to the combat, it's worth it in the end. Most difficult Spiderman game too.

I dont actually think its that hard im 48% done already.

Maybe it just the Wii version i dont know i dont think theres any difference in difficulty.

But swingin around is still so much fun it fits perfect with the Wiimote/nunchuck.

I suggest anyone with a Wii to play even if its just a rent.

EDIT: Just saw IGN score for the Wii version they gave it a 5.7 i dont agree with that its atleast a 7.5 for me but if anyone was wary id say rent it first.

Wow, the reviews were pretty bad.

I guess it's akk down to opinon though.

I personally am really enjoying playing the game. And as for button mashing - that guy obviously didn't take any time to try and memorize the combos.
