PS3 questions

1. How do you take off auto-load for a cd you put in?

2. Can you turn off the ability for the PS3 to automatically search
for internet connection? cuz it pisses me off whlie playing project
8...i constantly disconnect and connect to the wireless cable
and it lags the gameplay

1. You can't, right now if you just hold left or right on the d-pad while the PS3 is turning on you will scroll over to another option on the XMB and it won't auto-load....or if you have 2 or more users, when the PS3 starts it will ask you to pick a user instead of auto starting the disc. (hopefully in the next firmware they will add the ability to not auto start like they did with the PSP)

2. You could goto "Network Settings," and select disable the internet connection under the "Internet Connection" option....I would suggest using a wired network if you can, or try to get a stronger wireless router, so you don't lose your connection
