Have you ever had a dream and found out the person in your dream had the exact same dream the same night?

Dream sharing is a hypothetical dream state in which two or more individuals participate in the same dream. Dream sharers would be able to interact within the dream environment, wake up and recount the same dream details to each other in waking life. This hypothetical dream sharing would rely either upon telepathic communication between the dreamers, or upon the existence of a "dream universe" somewhere in an alternate state of reality. In theory, shared dreaming can occur with or without lucidity (conscious control of the dream environment).

I never heard of anybody who had this before either, but then I dont ask people if they dreamt the same thing. I doubt it can really happen..but it would be pretty cool.

the chances of 2 people both remembering the dream and then actually speaking 2 eachother about it make it very unlikely that this could happen 2 someone and they would ever know about it

I had a lucid dream in which I had sex with this girl. When I woke up I contemplated the possibility of both of us experiencing the same dream. When I saw her at work later that day I thought I saw a spark of recognition in her eyes.

So there. That proves nothing, but I like to think it was real.

Myself, sister, brother and niece have experienced this. Thought it was related to the experiences and daily going ons of siblings but my niece has shared it also with myself and sister. Its random.

It must be a telepathic thing. We all can sense when something is wrong with the other; no matter how many miles apart we are.

I have had it happen once I think except I hardly remembered it and it was very close there was a tiny bit of difference but I forget it...

It has never happened to me though it has happened to a friend of mine who still doesn't believe much on it lol.. basically he had the same exact dream of a friend of his.. yeah kinda weird and unbelievable

This is the weirdest dream experience I've ever had. Completely true but it's gonna sound fake. In my dream there was like this chef guy, he took an egg and rolled it on the table, so it was spinning. the phone rings and wakes me up and its my homeboy and im talking to him for a minute and he tells me hes eating an egg roll.

That has happened to me several time, with Daisy (who used to be my best friend) we had a notebook in which we wrote everyday about what had happened to us during the day, we would share it with each other. Several times we wrote about dreams that we’ve had and in several occasions we happened to have the same dream. Dream sharing has only happened to me with Daisy. It’s weird because we used to know each other so well; we practically finished each other’s sentences.
