What makes an Album a Classic? Where is Em in the discussion

you look at hip hop's classics, Illmatic, Straight Outta Compton, The Chronic, All Eyez on Me, Blueprint, Ready to die, The hunger for more (lol, jk) My idea of a classic is that it's almost perfect, every track is steller and never gets old, Nas, who always sounds sedated, is a masterful songwriter but lacks say pac's emotion, (even jigga's at that matter)really brought less than a dozen tracks with the same flow, what I am saying is do you think Em will never be put up with these guys even though his 1st 3 can go against any of these and has an argument?

no im comparing great rappers with other great rappers... gangsta rap is a label for west coast rappers and neither Jay Z, Biggie, or Nas fall into that catagory... you obviously have no intelligent input for this topic so buh bye....

Call me a groupie, but to me sslp, mmlp, tes and devils night were classics. In MY fucking opinion. People's opinions obviously differ. D12 World, I admit, sucked nutz. All those others mentioned on the first posts were classics as well.

I'm gonna copy Nasir's belief about what makes a classic album...

to me a classic CD is a CD where you don't have to skip a track through the entire CD and that every song amazes (sp??) you how good it is. Lyrics are the most important factor for me also the flow and beats has to be good.
