  • Gabrielle's eye....

Ok this is kind of random, but it's been bugging me for ages.....

Why does the singer Gabrielle always have something covering her eye? She either has an eye patch, dark sunglasses, hair.... or a shadow (gotta love the shadow)... covering one of her eyes.... and does anyone know why?

    Possible reasons:

    1. Blindness
    2. She has no eye
    3. No idea....

    Anyone?!
    Hi old school d12world!!

I have no idea but I've always wondering what was up with her eye

Edit; i just read somewhere she has a lazy eye... must be really bad if she feels the need to wear an eye patch...

                Just found this.

                http://www.tiscali.co.uk/music/inter...nterview/page2

I was always told that I couldn't possibly enter into this industry because I didn't fit the criteria, I wasn't the norm - I wasn't the skinny black girl. I was the black girl with the dodgy eye. Or dodgy eyelink rather. The fact that I did do it, and I totally went and showed the world what was wrong with me by having an eyepatch. I had mothers sending me letters from their 7 year old daughters who had eye patches but unlike me they didn't have an eye...and just by doing that I wasn't the stereotypical female or the black female.

I didn't have the hair down to here and short skirt, but I was the one coming out with the eye patch and the really short hair, feeling kind of masucline, well...maybe not masculine but certainly a bit 'geezer-bird', I don't know. I felt strong with the eye patch. It is possible, and it's not out of your reach.

Though... i am still slightly confused what is wrong with her eye..... what does she mean by "eyelink"? Darn maybe i'll never know...... grr! I'm on the case though.... i like to fulfil my telos :-p

I think she has a lazy eye and she won't get the treatment to get it fixed
so wears her hair over her eye, sunglasses or an eyepatch
at least, that's what I heard anyways...dunno if that's any help or if it's already been said
... it's no surprise, that I got lost in your brown eyes ...

                            I've always wondered...

My dad said he thought she was blind lol but she aint..

Maybe she just thought a lazy eye would affect how people saw her.

If you find out anything post it up thou els

A lazy eye isnt a big deal if dats wats wrong wit her. I had a lazy eye when I was wee but I got a wee operation to fix it when I was bout 8 and dat was dat. I dont even need to wear glasses anymore.
