any tricks on getting free ring tones on LG cell phone

Now I get it, I always thought people ment go to the site on your computer to get them... thought Nokia's had like "codes" you copy for them. Never got when I started seeing Verizon ones. Does anyone know about the security codes you need to access the web on your phone? Does that mean you need to pay extra for it? It did it on my old phone too, those big ugly long ones. I'd ask customer service but my cell's not paid for atm.
