i have the standard shit that audi installs in the factory so im guessing no amp...so this is my best bet?

Yeah then get that one, this one puts out higher watts per channel than most other head units, which is the amount of power going to your speakers.

Some head units barely have any of that, and you could get almost no power going to your speakers.

I had a Sony before the one I had now, and I had like no bass coming from the speakers, and it eventually crapped out after 2 years.

Alpine makes the most quality head units in the price range you're looking for. They have good features, and produce good sound quality out of your speakers.

If you have your' speakers hooked up to an amp already, then just pick out one that you think looks nice...

Alpine makes quality units, and this one is closest to $200 without going over.

I have the $450 dollar one, shit's bangin.

Im trying to buy a cd player for my 99 audi a4. Its gotta play mp3s too and be 200 or less...someone recommend the best one possible. thanks
