Even scarier is the fact that the guys that take you up, and you have to go Tandem your first few times (where another person is strapped to your back), they get fucked up all day long and just dive with people, they must have the life.

yeah i don't get that about myself.....i'll do any ride and any roller coaster, but when it comes to things that involve falling such as skydiving i get weak in the knees

Think of it this way, you don't have a cast iron guarantee that you're not going to get shot tomorrow, or that the worlds going to get blown up. One of my friends requested to watch them pack the parachute, and had another guy make sure it was ok.

Trust me, these guy's know what they're doing. Most of the deaths that occur from sky diving are not because the parachute doesn't open, but from shock, or unexpected wind....the place I went to had a girl land in an alligator pit...she got eaten by some gators, but that's besides the point.
