  • Web site Disses Eminem's Production on 2 pac Album lol

    Check This Shit out lol

    http://www.freetupac.com/

FreeTupac is a movement with one sole purpose, the freedom of Tupac Shakur's artistic expression preservation of his legacy. 2004 saw the release of Loyal To The Game, executively produced by Eminem. This album is a disgrace to everything Tupac stood for and was the straw that broke the camels back so to speak. His freedom of speech is taken away as his words are twisted and used to benefit Shady Records, Aftermath, G Unit and Interscope.

that quoted statement is kinda true...why would you wanna play fake like pac is down with people he isn't. i liked the album...and i think the beats were sick as hell..but remixing is one thing...and changing the mans speaking is another. i can 100% see their point.

The albums been out for what... 2 years?

We've already went through this. Fuck. The production is overrated anyways.
            change must come from within

Although I somewhat agree with their input on the Loyal to the Game.. this 'movement' is straight up bullshit. I personally think it's a waste of time and energy to dedicate a whole site towards Tupac's 'preservation of legacy' or whatever the fuck they're trying to do.

Although im not downing what you are saying...and i know you would be dead but even so...wouldn't you be pissed off that a beat you were originally comfortable with and lyrics that you recorded...were changed from the state in which you INTENDED them to be? With hip hop artists..keeping your vision exactly how you did it is a very touchy thing...what they choose to do and how they do it is extremely important because they feel that the way that they are doing it is the best way and most impressionable way to get the subject matter that they are so emotionally attatched to out. Beat...lyrics...flow...the way it was rapped...choice of lyrics and everything.

im a huge pac and em fan, but i dont think the loyal to the game production was as terrible as some people are saying. true, it wasn't the best production, but come to think of it most pac songs don't have great beats. i think maybe the main reason that all these huge pac fans and followers don't like em producing a pac album is cuz em arguably is just as huge as pac was/is, popularity and sales wise.
                  Blow me...

Yeah I would be pissed off at the distortions and everything but there is no way to know how exactly Pac intended his songs to be so you can't really rip others for messing with his material

Imo Royal to the game got quite a nice beat however the using his voice to promote thing bit is sort of really what those dude just stated.

Em does these things working closely with Afeni. If there's anyone to tell what Pac would've liked it's his mother. I think I trust more Afeni than some foaming internet geeks who never even met Pac
