  • I Won $125,000

So I got a letter and a check in the mail today. The check is for $2950.00 (READ BELOW). Now I have examined this check left and right. It is a REAL check. It has the 3 security marks and everything, it's made out to me with my address and the company on the check is RDC (Rochester Drug Cooperative Inc.). The bank on it is M&T Bank. The Letter I got with it is typed word-for-word below the pics. Scam?....

..this dude got the same type of letter. Read his experience:

Most of these are scams to access your bank account and withdrawal your funds.

Take it to a check cash place to see if its really legit.

Companies outside government grants, etc dont just give you money. This is a new version of the Jamaican scam. Remember you never give money if you won somn for free .. same applies for this.. if you'd really won, they'd legally have to take the taxes off the top of the check, report it to irs. etc.... not have you pay taxes first. Its a scam to get your personal information and steal your money.

The other aspect is its a loan with an outrageous interest rate. With balloon payment. Again, no company is giving you money without taking somn in return. Read the back of the check or the paperwork that came with it. Read the small print.. look for it saying if you deposit you are accountable to pay this amount back plus interest. Dont be dumb.
