I need some help out there! Im tryin to organize my cd collection, but I dont know if I should seperate them by where their from or what label they are on. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I sort mine by what I like best, but that takes somewhat frequent reorganization, since I usually just start putting my most recent purchases at the back until I get enough to make me want to sort them back out.Oh its true, its true Comment

^yea same...I just throw them in my bed side draw...99% of my cds are burnt, and are in those slim cases, so I don't really need a cd rack...
But if you were going to organise your cd collection, do it alphabetically, or new to old...Comment

I seperate mine by genre, then (in regards to Hip Hop) by US major, US indie and Australian/UK indie, and only then by artist.
When I want to listen to music... I choose a genre.
Then choose a subgenre.
Then choose an artist.
Then again, I only use this system because I'm horribly pedantic... (*Rondell*Beene begins to check thread for other people's spelling mistakes*)Comment
