Just like the title says favorite beats of all time...not rappers, not producers not dj's but BEATS...I put who performed the song in perenthasis (SP)...and I also put who produced the beat next to it just in case some peeps didn't know who made it...
1. Come Clean- (Jeru Da Damaja) Produced by Dj Premier - Chinese Water Torture never sounded so good in my life...
2. Top Billin- (Audio Two) Produced By Audio Two - Simple beat but just amazingly structered to perfection...
3. T.R.O.Y. - (Pete Rock and CL Smooth) Produced by Pete Rock - The horns on TROY are probably the best you will EVER hear on any song for the rest of your life...and they perfectly put you IN the song, it made you feel like you wear there watching T. Roy die in person.
4. Deep Cover (Dr. Dre & Snoop Doggy Dogg) Produced by Dr. Dre - Just amazing to me....monstrous bass line and Very infectous drum beat...kinda simple and easy to duplicate but that's the beauty of it..
5. Me, Myself, and I (De La Soul) Produced by Prince Paul - This is the first time i heard of Prince Paul but it made me run to the nearest store and buy Anything with his name on it...just an amazing symphony of sounds...and the fact that he produced this beat AFTER the rhymes were spit is even more amazing cuz it's perfectly insync with the rhymes...
drop ya'lls opinion
