50 Cent Hits Back At Jackson

A few weeks back Samuel L. Jackson made some rather interesting comments in regards to rapper 50 Cent and how he turned down a role in the Jim Sheridan project "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" (aka. "Locked and Loaded") because he didn't like working with actors (ie. musicians) yet to prove their worth.

Well the 'Cent' has hit back telling UK tabloid The Mirror that "Saying he wouldn't work with a rapper is like saying he wouldn't work with Will Smith, Queen Latifah or Ice Cube. Basically, he didn't want to play second fiddle. He knew that because of my success, people would come to see the movie because of me - and he couldn't handle that...To be honest, I couldn't see where he would fit into the movie anyway - other than as my grandfather".

And if you were a film producer and had the choice to pick a totaly new actor and make a movie that won't be avery popular OR chose 50 Cent as the main actor AND become rich as fuck with the movie; what would be your choice, honestly?

Yep yep, it's easy to hate on 50 and bash on people from the position we are right now, but before saying 50 is dumb for doing this and doing that, perhaps we should keep in mind that some people are SMART for doing these things.
