50 Cent gets his movie grandmother

American actress Viola Davis is to play 50 Cent's grandmother in the new movie he is to make with Irish director Jim Sheridan.

Variety reports that the film, known as the 'Untitled 50 Cent Project,' will see Davis play the grandmother who raised 50 Cent's character, a gangster who becomes a musician.

Tony award winner Davis' film credits include 'Solaris,' 'Far From Heaven' and 'Out of Sight.'

Shooting on the film is expected to begin this spring.

I think the movie will be almost as succesfull as 8 mile, if you're a fan you wanna see this shit + probably a crazy ass soundtrack if it comes near the 8mile soundtrack.
