  • Hip-Hop Charts: Beanie Sigel Breaks Out, 50 Cent Still Slaughters, The Game Stays On

This week, new releases from Will Smith and Beanie Sigel make strong debuts. Beanie Sigel, in jail on gun possession charges, is projected to sell 150,000 CDs of B. Coming -- despite his low visibility. Big Will Smith, now more of a blockbuster actor than a rap star, is projected to find about 80,000 purchasers of his Lost And Found thanks to his catchy party single, "Switch."

For the fourth consecutive week, The Massacre comes in at #1. Although down 10%, 50 is still moving units -selling 328,683 this week. His "Piggy Bank" is definitely growing, rounding off at 2,604,774 copies sold to date, according to Nielsen's Soundscan.

Slipping down nine positions to the 14th spot, The Game has stepped out of the Top 10 for the first time since hitting the streets. With a 15% decline,The Documentary continues to put up strong numbers with an additional 57,724 sets sold. Game has sold 1,750,824 LPs through ten weeks.

Securing the 22nd place, Eminem has only dipped 4%. After 20 weeks, Encore pushes 48,145 more records. The album has sold 4,381,754 records in total.

At #25, Ludacris is still aiming for the "Number One Spot." In its 16th week, The Red Light District falls five slots down, but increases in sales 9%. The record has sold 1,491,575 CDs to date, including this week's 40,061 copies.

Finally, C-Murder busts through, T.I. remains consistent and Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz hold on to the Top 50. Although in prison, the bars can't hold C-Murder. In his first week, Murder puts out 29,151 copies and comes in at #41. His Truest sh!t I Ever Said totals off at 29,717 units. T.I.'s numbers are moving at a consistent speed -selling 28,824 sets this week. At #42, Urban Legend has sold 910,452 copies in the past 17 weeks. Lastly, Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz grip the 44th spot, moving 28,256 more units. Crunk Juice currently has sold 2,070,085 albums to date according to Nielsen's Soundscan.

Next week, look for 50 to reign atop the charts again, and for Beanie Sigel to rank in the Top 50.
