i was waitin to hear news from juvi, its all bad, new york weather aint so bad afterall ......... now imagine this, 30 degrees cooler, and shit is flooded .... nobody could live cold AND wet

i saw this shit yesterday on tv
this man was cryin talkin bout how he lost his wife and shit. he was wit his kids and he was cryin. he said he had ahold to her but tha current and wind caused him to lose his grip on her and she went wherever it took her. he didnt know whether she alive or dead all he kept sayin was " thats my heart, thats my life, she was all i had" it made me cry a lil bit.
yesterday they found his wife alive. they played tha clip of her husband sayin tha shit he was sayin then cut to showin his body wrapped up in a blanket and her sittin next to him cryin. they never said how he died, my guess is, he died from a broken heart. that is so sad
its amazing how this shit is really affectin everybody. honestly tho, im more shocked about this than i 9/11. because there was no stoppin this shit. it was bound to happen.

I feel bad for the people in the city and the people being affected (including Atlanta, which now has $6.00+ gas because of this mess). Even police officers were looting it's so bad there right now.

But at the same time the government knew two years ago this was going to happen and didn't do anything. The city of New Orleans is under sea level and depends on machines/leeves to keep water from flooding the city. A hurricane messing up those machines/leeves shouldn't have surprised anyone and the government should have been prepared for this when FEMA told them the first time. If I was a citizen in New Orleans, I'd use this as an excuse to move elsewhere. The hurricanes are only going to get worse, and a city that can be flooded so easily isn't a place you need to live.

I'm not trying to be rude but, if you knew the hurricane was gonna come and you still stayed home...I mean, I feel bad if the person died but, it's pretty much your own fault.

I'm with Shadows though, I couldn't bare to watch it on the news. It's kind of ironic on how there is water shortage because of flooding. It's so sad to see hungry, un-bathed babies.

i could barely watch it on the news channels today... they evacuated a prison and all the inmates were on a flooded bridge stranded. people had kids and everything, knowing the water they got to walk in got all kinds of diseases in it... truly a sad, sad thing.

and i would loot if i was stuck in NO too! take this shit into account: most of the city has no power, no fuel, and their homes are under water. if i needed water, food, soap, clothes, toilet paper anything SHIT i won't think twice about looting a Wal-Mart that's fucked up and deserted. i'm thinking about myself and my family and i bet the people who loot in NO are too... and police were trying to stop the looters? s'not like the items inside would actually be good or valuable after trashed from a fucking surge.
