Kevin Federline has apologised for any offence caused by a new commercial which features him as a fast-food worker.
The advert - which will be aired during the Superbowl - has been criticised for belittling "the 12.8 million Americans who work in the restaurant industry".
"The commercial is completely intended for me, making fun of myself and my own situation," Federline explained. "It has nothing to do with anybody in the fast-food industry at all. So, you know, if we've offended anybody, I’m really sorry about that."
Federline split from Britney Spears in November last year.
