    Probably end up watching that.

As for a Cube & Durst collab, that would be pretty cool. It's a shame that Limp Bizkit went downhill. I remember when they first came out, and all the rock lovers and punks in my school loved them, but as soon as they started doing stuff with rappers and hip hop, these rockers and punks started talking shit. How shallow is that?

I personally thought it was a good move, appeal to two markets...obviously not. Some people are just fucking losers.

I did love N2Getha Now with Method Man. Fucking class song!

Limp Bizkit are my favourite band, full stop. I almost creamed at the recent rumours of an upcoming tour, hope it happens.

But they've worked with a lot of decent hip hop artists - Snoop, Xzibit, DMX, Method Man, DJ Premier, Timbaland (remix album), Fred worked with Kurupt. It's about time they did something with one of the best and most influential rappers ever. Should have had a Cube collab years ago.

Limp Bizkit is underrated so is Fred Durst.

Great for them and all, I just wish they'd collaborate musically.

  • June 3rd - Ice Cube And Fred Durst Collaborate In The Longshots

A decade ago, emcee and actor Ice Cube transcended into the rock world when he appeared alongside Limp Bizkit and Korn in 1998's Family Values Tour. The coexistence of the mutually appreciative rock and rap world also led to the collaboration "Fuck Dying," Cube's musical collaboration with Korn on War & Peace Volume 1.

A decade later, Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst and Ice Cube are working together yet again. This time, they collaborate in the form of The Longshots, a film presently in post-production. This will be the sophomore directorial effort by Durst, who directed last year's The Education of Charlie Banks.
Now backed by Dimension, The Longshots is a dramatic adaptation of the true story of Jasmine Plummer, the first woman to play in the Pop Warner football tournament in 56 years. Plummer is played by Atlantic Records' artist Kiki Palmer, who through the help of her mother, reaches out to "Uncle Curtis," played by Cube, for some tips on fitting in.

The film's official trailer can be viewed [click here]. The film is set for 2008 theatrical release.
