After viewing the threads on immortal technique, especially the one with his acapella, I downloaded some of his songs and I have to say that this cat is FYRE! No joke. I went out and bought both of his CDs. I suggest that anyone who likes this cat to go out and do the same. Underground artists deserve our support.

My favorite song is easily "Dance with the Devil". My question to this forum is:

What other songs incorporate a classical composition as the beat of a rap song (underground or mainstream) like Dance with the Devil?

I gotta agree. After listening to Revolutionary Vol. 2, and some of Revolutionary Vol. 1, Immortal Technique has become one of my favorite rappers of all time. He reminds me a lot of Rage Against the Machine, the way he talks about religion and politics. He is so good, even though I have downloaded both of his CDs, I'ma have to go buy his shit. I haven't bought a cd in years, but these Indy rappers need the money, unlike the guys on top of the game.

He's good, thats for sure. His voice reminds me of Nas for sum reason. I like this cat, definatley one of the most real and lyricaly skilled Mc out right now. Motherfukers talk about controversy alot when speaking about rappers, this guy is the definition of controversy. The shit he spits and the subject's he speaks on are mainly religion and politics, very refreshing from the materialistic stunt/crunk monotony we've become acustomed to in hip hop for the last while. So go buy the CD or don't feel too bad about it and take Tech's own advice:

i wanted to say something bout immortal technique...i remeber seeing this battle with him and posta boy on 106...you can hear it on emceebattles.com in the audio section...he didnt win it though, posta was already the crowd favorite cause he was the 5th time champ....guess they werent ready for techinique yet...if you listen , even though postas verse was better and flowed better immortal technique was ACTUALLY freestyling...its funny cause look at them now...postas just another NY MC clogging mixtapes up with his gun/drug/ho/gangsta talk and IMMORTAL is actually saying something with a meaning...go figure
