rev i definetly see what your saying, and i agree with you on most of it, except your examples of being able to "repeat the words from dear mama by 2pac or juicy by biggie." i hear shit like this a lot on this board. i can't repeat the words from either of those songs. and I have listened to them, but they never really appealed to me all that much. i'm more into horrorcore and political hip-hop, i listen to a lot of underground music but neither of those ever appealed to me. im not a huge pac or biggie fan... does that mean im not a "true" hip-hop listener?
