1. Benzino blasts 50 Cent, Outkast, The Roots.
After taking on Eminem, Ray Benzino is now aiming at 50 Cent, Outkast, The Roots and Da Band on The Untouchables' single, "I'ma Killa." Zino's barrage begins with a reference to Outkast as he reveals, "I'm not an Outkast/I make my music for the people" before ridiculing 50 for his Grammy snub. Only a few lines later, Zino spits, "rip The Roots out the ground they walk on/ make the band/play taps while I get my chalk on." He also makes references to The Roots backing Eminem at last year's Grammys saying "that sh!t almost made me throw the f#@$ up."
2. Nas Robbery
Ever so often the rumor mill gets churning with a good one that seems so real it's got to be true. This time, a fake Nas robbery is the topic. Word has been spreading on the internet and radio that Nas is recovering in a Cincinnati Hospital after being assaulted and robbed upon leaving a performance earlier this week. The gossip says that two men threw Nas to the ground, kicked and punched him several times and torched the car he was traveling in.
Nas' camp is denying the rumor and the Cincinnati Herald, where the story allegedly stemmed from, has no record of such a report.
