1. Jigga and Lyor team up again?
Tongues are flapping this week and it's all about Jay-Z. The word on the streets is that Jay-Z has closed a deal to form a new label under Lyor Cohen's Warner Music Group. The rumored roster would include Foxy Brown and a rapper that reportedly sounds like the Jiggaman. And it may be just wishful thinking, but Hov is also said to be negotiating with Interscope to join Dr. Dre for a full length album. We also hear he wants to co-headline this summer's Roc The Mic tour with Ludacris.
2. Bang 'Em Smurf's got guns for 50.
The word on the street is that disgruntled former G-Unit member, Bang 'Em Smurf has got an arsenal of guns all for 50 Cent. Apparently, Smurf was showing off his goods on camera to certain hip-hop producers at his New York apartment this week. The filming captured Smurf as he was surrounded by various guns, all the while saying how 'he got something for 50.'
