proof: i see ya on that i kinda agree but his new cd your thoughts are probably why dogmatic is tha joint mc on it but proof could do some ill stuff on his own cuz i look at it like he verses were pretty ill on dn but he needs ta figure some good hooks and some solid verses

bizarre: i think he could do kinda well as a solo artis cuz we all know controversy sells but fo real his underground days were ill but mainstream he sound kinda wack but if he didnt try all tha shocking sit he could have solid solo lp

    Da brigadge:
i think this have good potential but i think they both could have solo lp that would be pretty solid but a da brigade album would be dope but kon artis has his good sides he got some ill gangsta/killa/pimp and more shit but not all that wack jewelery bullshit i think he could do an lp and have some great prod. and lyricson it/ kuniva is a high pitched so i see him more of a dj quik type but kinda doper he could do a whole track himself but unlike quik he cant rp and produce so its all good i see them as havin a good solo/group carrer.

swift: i agree wit everythang you said but i see he could have both street and pop appele like em

    Thoughts on D-12 solo projects

Here are my thoughts on possible solo projects from Bizarre, Proof, Da Brigade (not really solo), or Swifty:

Proof: Proof is a brilliant freestyler who has been respected in Detroit since the early nineties, when he won an award from The Source. As an MC, there is no one better. His talent as a songwriter, however, is questionable. He is a good choice for posse cuts and guest appearances, but Proof just isn't LP material.

Bizarre: Bizarre released an impressive EP in his underground days, and his performance on Eminem's SLIM SHADY EP is unforgettable. However, his commercial work is weak. He was pretty disappointing on DEVIL'S NIGHT (not that he didn't have his moments) and completely ruined "My Words Are Weapons" on Funk Flex's CD (Although his verse was still better than most of the trash on that mixtape). His disturbing, pornographic rhymes would become tiring on an LP. Like Proof, Bizzare just isn't LP material. However, he is not a bad choice for an EP.

Da Brigade: Now we're talking. I think these guys could come up with really interesting concept songs (like "Guilty Conscience") and also hold their own in posse cuts. Denaun Porter has a lot of potential as a producer, and Kuniva is a good songwriter. They could come up with a dope LP if they tried. It would be fun but raw.

Swifty: Again, a wise choice for an LP. Swifty's rhymes really get under your skin, and he's probably the most charasmatic MC in the group next to Eminem. His charisma is different than Em's. He isn't loud and schitzophrenic like Slim and Kon Artis. He's more like a very evil version of Snoop Dogg. His voice is so strange, it doesn't even sound human. Although not the most filthy and disgusting rapper in D-12, he creates weird images in the minds of listeners. The tales of his disturbed childhood he tells throughout DEVIL'S NIGHT display potential as a songwriter, and his verse on "Ain't Nuttin But Music" displays intelligent social and political commentary. I'm picturing a Swifty LP as darker than anything Eminem has come out with.

What do you guys think about D-12 solo projects?
