Some of those releases are far too recent to be considered "The Greatest..." anything.

    So I'm gonna choose "Other".

However, had this poll been simply about the best of the available chocies, I would have chosen either Aesop Rock's "Labor Days", Jedi Mind Tricks' "Violent By Design" or Non Phixion's "The Future Is Now".

From that list i'd have to say:

Immortal technique-revolutionary vol.2- so deep lyrically, and politically. Almost every beat is nice to.

Jedi mind tricks-violent by design- POwerful collabs, Amazin production by stoupe, When vinnnie paz was in his prime.

Non-phixion-the future is now- possibly the best beats on an underground hip hop cd. You can't go wrong with production from primo, pete rock, necro,ju ju from the beatnuts, and large professor.

"Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today"

You couldn't make headlines with raised eyebrows

Ras Kass: Soul On Ice... one of the most slept on albums, yet one of the most lyrical...

                    WTF?

some of these albums shouldn't be included, like Madvillainy

Binary Star- Masters Of the Universe
                    Company Flow- Funcrusher Plus
                    Pharoahe Monch- Internal Affairs
                    Talib Kweli- Reflection Eternal
                    Mos Def/Talib Kweli- Black Star
Mos Def- Black On Both Sides
                    Main Source- Breakin Atoms
                    Ultramagnetic MC's- Critical Beatdown
                    Organized Konfusion- Organized Konfusion

all these are better than the ones listed, just so you guys know there was underground before the year 2000

Hmmm, the list could have been better....

                          and 2000 B.C. >>> Rip the Jacker...

                          So, I choose other.

yeah, well its impossible to narrow it down to 10 albums that everyone can agree on. i went by which underground albums i thought were most popular. i think most people consider rip the jacker to be canibus' best album, but i could be wrong. i havent heard 2000 bc yet so im not really sure. and why shouldnt madvilliany be up there? i consider it to be a classic.
