considering the range, the most successful and frequent protest songs tend to focus on the police and/or federal government...Nowadays, these types of songs really don't have too much success because most of these mainstream labels enjoy the notion of "dumbing down" the audience...they think that the rap audience is not concerned with politics, and i think that many fans aren't, but there are still many who are concerned...
