old skoooool... i love the paste button

        The Bridge wars

It all started out when MC Shan bragged about that Hip Hop started in Queens.

        MC Shan - The bridge
Boogie Down Productions - The bridge is over
MC Shan - Kill that noise
Boogie Down Productions - South Bronx

MC Shan - Juice Crew Law

        LL Cool J
        Kurtis Blow

        Roxanne Shanté vs Sparky Dee

Sparky Dee - Sparky's Turn (Roxanne Through), Sparky's Profile
Shante' - Roxanne's Profile, Bite This

LL Cool J vs Kool Moe Dee

I believe this battle started because LL once talked shit about the Old School.
KMD was not that happy about it so...Even ironic is it that on Kool Moe Dee's first
album he sends special thanks to LL Cool J.

The Breakthrough - LL Cool J 1987 (Bigger And Deffer)
How you like now - Kool Moe Dee 1987 (How Ya Like Me Now)
Jack The Ripper - LL Cool J 1987 (Soundtrack 'Less Than Zero)

Death Blow - Kool Moe Dee 1991 (Funke Funke Wisdom)
LL Cool J - To Da Break Of Dawn

LL Cool J vs MC Shan

MC Shan claimed that Cool J stole his beats and released Beat Biter in 1986.

Busy Bee vs Kool Moe Dee

Kool Moe Dee shocked the world at the famous Fever and battles
        Busy Bee through the roof....

Cold Crush vs The romantic 5 MC's

The perfect basketball scene in the film classic Wild Style.
They battle while playing basket ball..

        Tim Dog vs NWA

Tim Dog - Step to me

        The NWA Battle

NWA formed in 1985 with Dr Dre, Ice Cube, and Eazy-E which then MC Ren
and DJ Yella joined in 1985 or 1986 to make their first album NWA and the Posse.
They made the track "Straight Outta Compton" in 1988.

Then Ice Cube got kicked outta NWA in 1989 for payment reasons.
Ice Cube and NWA started a battle on Ice Cube's Death Certificate album with
the song "No Vaseline" and got answered by NWA on the album *****z4Life
with the song "Real *****z" which are both from1991.

Shortly after NWA made *****z4Life Dre told Eazy(Who was the owner
of NWA's record company Ruthless Records) that he wanted to be payed more money.
Eazy refused and Dre left, and with that NWA broke up.
Dre told Eazy that he would make it nowhere without him producing. Eazy went solo with DJ Yella and Dre went on to make The Chronic album with Snoop Doggie Dogg and The Dogg Pound which had the song "Fuck Wit Dre Day" [and everybody's celebratin] dissing Eazy E, and also dissing Tim Dog. Eazy came out with Home 4 Tha Sick in 1992 which in the intro Eazy dissed Dre. Then Eazy came out with one of the greatest album's of all time "It's On(Dr Dre)187um Killa" in which almost the whole album dissed Dre mostly the songs "Real Muthaphuckkin G's" and "It's On"

The Deathrow and Ruthless battle went on then with BG Knocc Out and Gangsta Dre'sta against Tha Doggpound still with Eazy-E until his death in 1995. BG Knocc Out and Dre'sta's song DPG Killa and Doggpound's "What Would You Do" in which Eazy-E came back with his own version of "What Would You Do"

        KRS One vs Melle Mel

Rumour has it that they battled on a street corner.
KRS was even so sure to win that he betted on himself..

Grandmaster Melle Mel & The Furious Five vs The new School

'Revenge', a track on 1989 album 'Piano'. They tell all the new school about the Old School.

        Cash Money vs Mystikal

Mobb Deep VS Def Jam's Hit Squad (Keith Murray, Redman, Erick Sermon, etc.)

This started when Prodigy dissed Keith Murray on the original and unreleased verse for LL Cool J's "Who shot ya?". Prodigy then called the Hit Squad out on the "Infamous prelude" on the Infamous album. He also did a single with Parrish Smith dissing Erick Sermon

        Supanature - No Show

An answer to Doug E Fresh - The Show

Ice Cream Tee - Guys ain't nothing but trouble

An answer to Fresh Prince. On the B side of Fresh Prince's Girls ain't nothing but trouble.

        Crash Crew - MC Wars

Although it was previously unreleased, the song "MC Wars" which appears on the CD "We Are Emcees" by the Crash Crew, is a Run-DMC diss, supposedly recorded because of the use of the classic break from Bob James' "Mardi Gras" on "Peter Piper",
which was originally rocked by the Crash on "Breakin' Bells". The Crash Crew returned
the favor by rockin' the general guitar riff from Aerosmith's "Walk This Way" on this joint.

Steady B - Take your Radio

A hit on LL Cool J's I can't live without my radio.

Man Parrish feat Freeze Force Crew - Boogie Down Bronx

"You got the perfect beat I hear you say, but you better listen close cuz I'm here to stay". Cool Johnski says in an interview that the diss was towards Arthur Baker and John Robie (producers for soul sonic force - perfect beat)

Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five - "The Call Out"

thanks for the help Chrizz...i havent posted all of them, but i will...i just want to make sure on a few things. and thanks k11...i just have a little correction to make on your nwa beef list. nwa kicked ice cube out. ice cube released amerikkkaz most wanted without talking shit. nwa were the first one's to come out talking in the album zaggin4life with a skit and a line in a song i listed. ice cube responded to that with No Vaseline and nwa never responded since they broke up a little later after that.

now, if anyone see's anything wrong in the list...wrong name of a song title, no album title,...or if you know where the song came from...like 3nd round knockout by canibus towards LL...please let me know and i'll add it. i'll change the format to something more clear if people have problems understanding it. thanks for the help people.
