When I saw the title of the thread, the Canibus line jumped to my head immediately also (being a Canibus fan). Biggie wasn't my favorite either, but he is definitely better than a lot of the garbage that sells well today.

By the way its The greatest rapper of all time died on March 9th 3;-)3.

Best lyricist to date. Tupac was better known because he had more singles hits like California Love,whereas the best known Biggie singles,Mo Money Mo Problems and Hyponotise,are,in fairness,not great songs. But among the younger rap fans for some reason Biggie doesnt get near as much attention or respect in spite of being a superior lyricist. Biggie has only sold something like 10 million records in the USA. Pac has something like 30 million. Ready to Die is a classic.
