Anyone here likes Lil Flip? His new single, "Game Over", has the hottest beat since 50's "In Da Club". Period. I'm just curious to see how many of you think that Lil Flip has the potential to put the mainstream rap game on lock?
I mean, let's be realistic here; he has crazy punchlines, beats are always banging and ridiculously good to blaze while cruising, lyrics are hot, no question there, sick flow that could easily stack up against some of today's finest artists.
The only thing that Flip is missing, in my opinion at least, are some personal topics to indulge in his songs. This is why Tupac and B.I.G. are considered the greatest. Their music has that extra bit in it that motivated and affected your life, even if you fail to admit so, mostly to help you get through hard times and keep moving on ["Dear Mama", "Keep Ya Head Up" // "Miss U", "Sky's The Limit"..].
I believe that if Lil Flip would flip[Ironically..] his style a little, and touch upon some rather private issues with serious tracks, he could be the future of hip hop. See what Joe Budden is doing. Anyway that's my 2 cents. Make sure you get "U Gotta Feel Me" album on March 30th, it will definitely be worth every penny, hype is getting bigger day by day.
