      ^ same i agree

and especially because of his concepts. Lyrically, obviously ill bill was best, but ill bill lacked in depth and point whereas sabac had an amazing message told in an amazing way. Sabac also had great guest appearance (vinnie paz, Immortal tech etc.)
Sabac really has a message, ill bill and goretex just rhyme better.
      I choose message over skill!
also: goretex album was the biggest dissapointment of 2004
I expected his to be the best, not only of non phixion members, but one of the best of the year period.
His is the worst psychological/uncle howie release yet, besides Mr Hyde
Mr Hyde shouldn't even be considered a rapper
      Here's some quick reviews

      lyrics - skill AND depth
      Ill Bill -
      lyrics - 4/5
      beats - 4.5/5
      overall - 8.5/10

      Sabac
      Lyrics - 4.5/5
      Beats - 4.5/5
      overall - 9/10

      Goretex
      lyrics - 3.5/5
beats - 3/5 Necro lacked severely
      overall - 6.5/10

      winner - sabac

I haven't given Goretex a very close listen yet, but as far as my current judgement goes...

        1. Ill Bill - What's Wrong With Bill?
        2. Sabac - Sabacolypse
        3. Goretex - The Art Of Dying

Sabac's album had the potential to be the best, but it lost ground due to some bad beats, and bad choices (eg. the annoying reggae hook in "Fight Until The End", and the horribly uneccesary R'n'B ending to "Positive & Negative"). Also, as far as the "rebellious" angle Sabac was going for, I don't think he has the charisma to pull it off as strongly as say Immortal Technique, Eminem or Ice Cube. He just doesn't sound angry, thoughtful and dangerous enough to carry a solo album like this.

Ill Bill wins by default. The beats on his album were by far the strongest, and he has enough lyrical ability and mic presence to outweigh his sometimes shallow concepts.

I think Necro is the one who deserves a round of applause though.
The sheer quantity of product he has put on the market this year, as well as its general quality, has been nothing short of amazing. He has kept the word "Psycho-Logical" on people's lips all year, and has kept everyone in anticipation of the next release, right until the very end.

            1. "Ill Bill - What's Wrong With Bill?"
            2. "Goretex - The Art Of Dying"
            3. "Sabac - Sabacolypse"

Ill Bill wins hands down, his album may just be my favorite of all time, I can't stop listening to it. I don't see how you can bash his concepts, the song "The Anatomy Of A School Shooting" alone is insane, rapping like he's one of the Columbine kids that shot the place up.

Goretex's album is fuckin' nice, the beats are especially original on this one, no one's sounds close to this, the rest all sound alike in a way, you can tell it's Necro, this is different. Gore's a sick rapper as well, my only beef is the overall short duration and especially short duration of "Virtual Goat".

Sabac is in last because his album is just not too good. It's definitely way overrated, that song, I think "Fight For Your Right" or some shit, soooooooooooo bad! I just can't listen to it beginning to end. Songs like "Organize" and "Sabacolypse" are fuckin' sick though. Overall, it's a decent album, but has nothing on the others.

But props to Necro, like Rondell said, dude's dished out like over a hundred beats already and has more to come, that's fuckin' talent, considering they're basically all fuckin' amazing.
Yeah I talk shit, I'm cocky with it
It's hard for you to admit it but I'm one of the best in it

              Easily Ill Bill's album.

Lyrics, deliverance, beats, content... I think it's superior in all of those categories.

sometimes how you deliver the message is more important than the message itself

I'll have my thoughts on my fave album later

^true...and if ill bill had a greater message than sabac's i woulda liked his album better. If you deliver but with no message, then that's worse than a message with bad delivery is what i mean.
I would rather have a cd from a worse rapper with a great message and ideas than have a great lyricist give me an album with no point and no message. Not saying that bill doesnt have a message, my opinion is just that sabacs was more interesting and i enjoyed listening to it more.
The song "Anatomy of a School Shooting" alone is twice as good as any song on sabacolypse tho.
It was a close call for me.

my favorite would be Sabac- Positive & Negative is one of the best songs of the year...

                    2. Ill Bill- very close second, has some great songs
                    3. Goretex- Ill album but doesn't feel like a complete album

i think sabac's album was best overall. it was a very complete album, plus it actually had a message to it, unlike goretex. does anyone know wtf gore is talkin about on "last 100 days of sodom"? the shit rhymes but makes no fuckin sense! ill bill was dope too, but i just prefer sabacolypse.
