I respect d12 [my 1st fav group next to the wu] & PROOF as a solo artist but studing the history of their material I gotta say Royce takes it

Royce "destroy" cd2 of "destroy & rebuild" mixtape is flawless. Danm royce is a lyrical monster

PROOF is sick also but Royce Da 5'9" > PROOF simply becuz his street lyrics and his flow is way smoother and complex

i personally can not really decide who's better...imo, i think they're both equally good...but that's just me...i'd prefer Proof over Royce most of the time tho...
Royce's shit has been amazing til the MIC mixtape vol 2 and ID...cannot listen to either of them...i'm always pleased with Proof's shit...

As artists I believe they are equal. They are both amazing rappers.

As for an individual person, I'd choose Proof. Just b/c he seems more out there and has a better connection with his fans. You can just connect with him better. At least For me anyways. And plus I know alot more about Proof then I do about Royce.

I have to say Proof. Even though Royce has more albums out then Proof, Proof lyrics are tight and deep. The way Proof connects with his fans is awesome. Don't get me wrong, they are both tight MC's in their own ways. Yeah you can understand Royce better, but something about Proof's voice...its so individually arigional lol.
