I was so pissed last night at the Grammy's. Cuz at one point in the show, the showed a memorioum clip for artists that I guess had passed away in the last year or whatever. They showed some old 50's and 60's pop singers, Jazz musicians, all types of people from a whole range of times and genres. And I was watching it like "they have to show Proof". So I'm watching all these artists I never even heard of, but then they showed Jay Dee...which I thought was dope. But the clip ended with nothing about Proof :sad: Jesus Christ, how could someone SO TALENTED and SO COMMITTED to Hip Hop, not be recognized. That was some bullshit. Straight FUCK the Grammy's!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. I thought that they HAD to show Proof. But nope, nothing. Fucken queers.

P.S. The title of the thread is s'posed to be: Straight FUCK the Grammy's. I fucked up the word Straight.

I think Proof should've been mentioned, BUT at the same time-

outside of rap, Proof wasn't as influential as the others listed, Jay Dee was the legendary producer so it's aite that he's mentioned. But most people don't give a fuck about rappers, especially not shit that's not mainstream..

hell yeah, fuck the grammy's. i didn't watch it but that is fucked up, it's ok though Proof, doesn't need the TV/ stupid award shows to be respected and remembered. we remember him through his music, his talent and his life. he doesn't need that to be represented by the TV, he has a lotof people all over the world representing him. fuck the media, we got Proof. but still they should of showed respect for him, but that's the bullshit media we have today.

that's even sadder then the grammy thing.

i never even heard of Deadwood, fuck that show for real. atleast we got real people showing respect to Proof in all different parts of the world. Proof doesn't need the media, it's all fake, he's got his real people, and his real fans showing a lot of respect and love for him.

Oooh, and then Anna Nicole Smith is all over the news, every day for hours, no disrespect to her, or to anyone who liked her, but she gets more attention then basically anyone else who passed and she was a ho, and all she said was "Trimspa Baby" she didn't help out much either. seriously fuck the media, for real.

Proof was a real big influence on a lot of people around the world. Plus without Proof, there wouldnt be a slim shady, and without slim shady, no 50 Cent etc. So Proof deserves to be in there, but as posted before, its probably because of the circumstances in which he died
